This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which SafePass VPN processes refunds and cancellations for our Premium subscription plans. We strive to ensure customer satisfaction while maintaining fair and transparent policies.

Free Plan

Our Free Plan requires no payment and includes no data limit with access to 3 server locations. Since no payment is required, no refunds or cancellations are applicable. You may stop using the service at any time without any obligation.

Premium Subscription Purchases

Premium subscriptions ($2/month or $20/year) can be purchased through multiple channels: Google Play Store for Android users, or directly through our website using secure payment gateways. Refund policies vary based on the purchase method.

Google Play Store Refunds

For purchases made through Google Play Store, refund requests must be submitted directly to Google Play. SafePass VPN does not process Google Play refunds directly. Google Play typically allows refunds within 48 hours of purchase if you're not satisfied with the service. After this period, refund eligibility is determined by Google Play's standard policies.

  • Refund requests within 48 hours: Usually approved by Google Play
  • Refund requests after 48 hours: Subject to Google Play's discretion
  • To request a refund, visit Google Play Store > Account > Order History > Request Refund

Website Payment Gateway Refunds

For purchases made directly through our website via secure payment gateways, refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis. Refunds may be approved for technical issues, service failures, or other valid reasons within 48 hours of purchase.

  • Refund eligibility: Evaluated within 48 hours of purchase
  • Valid reasons: Technical issues, service unavailability, billing errors
  • Processing time: 5-10 business days after approval
  • Refunds processed to the original payment method

Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your Premium subscription at any time based on your purchase method:

  • Google Play subscriptions: Cancel through Google Play Store account
  • Website subscriptions: Email contact@safepassvpn.com to cancel
  • Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period
  • No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing cycle
  • No automatic renewal after cancellation
  • You can resubscribe at any time

How to Cancel Google Play Subscription

  • Open Google Play Store on your Android device
  • Tap Menu (≡) → Subscriptions
  • Find SafePass VPN and tap on it
  • Tap 'Cancel Subscription'
  • Follow the on-screen instructions

How to Cancel Website Subscription

  • Send an email to contact@safepassvpn.com
  • Include your registered email address and transaction ID
  • Specify 'Subscription Cancellation Request' in the subject line
  • Our team will process your cancellation within 24-48 hours
  • You'll receive a confirmation email once cancelled

Refund Exceptions

Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Technical issues preventing service use that were not resolved by our support team
  • Unauthorized purchases (subject to verification)
  • Duplicate charges for the same subscription period

Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be provided in the following cases:

  • Change of mind after the 48-hour Google Play refund window
  • Failure to cancel subscription before renewal
  • Inability to access specific websites or services (due to those platforms' VPN detection)
  • Slower speeds than expected (VPN encryption naturally affects speed)
  • Dissatisfaction with server locations or features
